A journey to London in the spirit of Christmas, by 3 students

At 4 am on Monday, December 4, about fifty students, from C2A, first and final euro and four professors, Ms. Chevrel, Mr. Vitrac, Mr. Boillin and Ms. Gautier, were ready to leave for London. After long hours driving to the north of France, we took the eurotunnel at 4:50pm. Then it was around 7:30pm that we were able to join our host families who were very welcoming. This trip was composed of several interesting museums throughout the week: the Imperial War Museum, Tate Modern, the Museum of London, Museum of Natural History, the V&A and the Science Museum. But we have not only visited museums, we have also discovered the historic city of London, the Tower of London, the business district, the typical London things like the double-decker bus as well as the telephone booths and the guards. Shopping was also present, in Coven Garden and at Harrods which is not insignificant with the Christmas periods. To continue in the spirit of Christmas, lights and decorations made London even more wonderful. Many photos were taken including the ones below. To start off this week, the teachers did us the honor to go to Primark which is especially dedicated to Harry Potter. We were also able to attend the musical « Les Miserables » which was one of the things most appreciated by the students because it was extraordinary and unforgettable. We thank the teachers for this wonderful trip, for their generosity and their enthusiasm throughout the stay. And we will not forget the small gifts offered to everyone after the ferry on saturday morning that finished the trip at the same note that it began and it will allow us to never forget this stay.
